Why Feminism never worked.

In this post feminist society the word feminism tends to leave a bitter taste in ones mouth. For me personally I have always thought feminism was a privilege for the bored, over educated, white, upper middle class woman, who of course had the best intentions in mind. Now some people are going to think that’s funny coming from a white over educated Wylde woman like me. Others will without question get their knickers in a knot. But no matter how you look at it, feminism did more harm then good and in my opinion set women back almost 50yrs. It divided women rather then bring them together as a whole, it divided the sexes rather then ring in an era of equal partnerships, reports of rapes and domestic violence increased, the glass ceiling is till there and there is still to this day major pay discrepancies in executive salaries based on gender. And if we want to look at the outcome of this last political election we see the world is still not ready for a woman to head up a super power. This is the residual created by a movement that came from a place of anger, rage, resentment and resistance.

It seems that only now are we recovering from the onslaught that was feminism. Women are taking back control of families; they are no longer looking to sacrifice the journey of motherhood for the sake of a career. The wylde woman has learnt how to merge the two harmoniously. I remember when my children where young, I was told it was a luxury to stay at home and be a fulltime mother. This always bemused me and made me wonder why people had children in the first place! And god help you if you didn’t have children and were career orientated people where so quick to condemn you as some sort of satanic ball crushing monster. It is only now we are healing the wounds of such division in the feminine community. How we be women and how we choose to live as women is a purely personal choice. No one has the right to tell you otherwise. It is a grand day when a woman can just sit and be happy at the fact that she is a woman. That if she chooses to love and nurture a partner and a family she can do so without feeling like her domestic existence is an inferior world. Or if she chooses to pursue her career and not have a family that she has made decisions that best suit her existence and do not reflect her lack of womanhood.

I see finally a new surge of feminine energy and it is without fear and without anger. It comes from a place of love and compassion. We see women acting as mentors, coaches and support bases for other women. Networks of successful stay at home business moms are popping up all over the place. Economies are shifting from the stock exchange to the dinner table. Partners are just that, partners. There is without question a rise in the vibration of feminine energy these days. And that is a very good thing. Equality starts from within. How you see yourself fitting into this world will be the reflection you project when others see you. If you are non combative, yet strong in self you will be surprised how many doors will be opened for you. If you approach all people with non judgement then they in return will not be judgemental of you.

We Wylde Women know this, we have been doing it our whole lives, now is our time to shine. Step out of the shadows of past creation and stand on the brink of the new feminine which is you.
